It has been two weeks since we announced our HyperApp. Hundreds of users have tried the app, and BasedApp is now officially available on the Android Play Store! The iOS app is coming soon, and in the meantime you can try it on Apple TestFlight.

Our mission at BasedApp has always been to onboard the next generation into crypto. HyperApp gives people one fast place to spend, trade and hold.

Earlier this week, we announced our affiliate program. If you have enjoyed the app so far, you can now be among the first to refer friends to BasedApp and earn up to 36% commission on their fees.

Those payouts rival the affiliate programs of some of the biggest CEXs in the world.

When you trade on BasedApp, you are trading on Hyperliquid. That means you earn Hyperliquid Points and BasedApp XP on the same trades.

Trading on BasedApp is permissionless: have a wallet, fund it and start trading. The Cash product is subject to jurisdiction restrictions, but the trading terminal is not, so your referrals can onboard wherever they are.

There are three ways to get an early Based Affiliate link:

1. Earn 50,000 XP on BasedApp by trading;
2. Have a BasedApp Gold Visa Card;
3. Contact us on Discord to express your interest to be an Ambassador

XP and Points

Whether you trade or spend with the card, BasedApp products earn you points and XP.

• XP: Earned through trading and using our Based Wallet.
• Points: Earned through card spending. Location restrictions apply.

We split it this way to be fair to users in every country. We are working to bring the Based Visa Card to more of the world, but there are places we cannot serve today.

Because XP is permissionless, anyone can be part of the BASED COMMUNITY. XP (Experience Points) is earned by trading. During the current alpha test we are giving 4,000 XP for signup and 1,600 points per $10k volume (3x multiplier due to alpha testing) swapped through BasedApp.

What we are building now

For the last few days we have been fixing bugs and improving the mobile app. We are also working on bigger things: Based Visa Cards in more countries, on/off ramps, and easier ways to fund your account.

We want to be the trading hub for every asset on Hyperliquid. Mobile suits most people on the go, but plenty of users prefer to trade on a computer when they are at their desk. Mobile-only is a bad experience for them, so we built a web app.

Most of the features are there. There's always more to do, but markets do not wait, so I've decided to open the web app to everyone.

Our products are in beta and change every day. We are moving fast and fixing bugs as quickly as we can.

On the web, the plan is to reach feature parity on futures and spot as soon as possible, then enable spot trading across all of HyperEVM.
